I need to be strong. Face the problem, not avoid it, whatever the problem is.

It is my life, and I own it, not anyone else. Why let others ruin it? Others won't care  about my feelings and wellness...

Life is cruel, be strong, live honorably and with dignity whenever I don't think I can.

Japanese grammar course in Peking Univ.

The teacher taught more about his philosophy on life, and how to be a man of better virtue, which made this Japanese grammar class more vivid and interesting.

Here are some of his sayings about a person's virtue, about the value of time. (in Chinese)

一个人对纸币的态度，体现出一个人的品格；一个国家对公共厕所的态度，体现出一个国家的品格。

一个只看到别人错误的人，是渺小的人，一个能发现别人有点并且公开赞扬的人，是伟大的人。同样，国家也是如此。

Ennio Morricone's debut in China

Finally, Ennio Morricone is coming to China and will directly conduct the orchestra.

Ennio Morricone, the greatest film score composer in the last half century,  who has composed for over 400 movies. Among all these movies, there are Sergio Leone's Gold Trilogy, Once upon a time trilogy; the Giuseppe Tornatore's Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, the Legend of 1900, Malena; Kill Bill series, Mission, etc..

The would be two concerts this time.  One concert would be held in Beijing, May, 21th 2009. The other would be held in Shanghai, May, 23rd, 2009.

I've never thought that I could have the opportunity to see EM's live concert in my life. This time, I feel real real happy.

Recent good movies: Yes Man and Taken

I am a HUGE FAN of Jim Carrey! And, therefore Yes Man is just right for me. This is a typical Jim Carrey romantic comedy told us how a pathetic middled aged loser became popular and successful and found his better half.

Luc Besson always has the coolest scripts. Taken told us a story about "a preventer in need", literally. Liam Neeson is a retired secret service man and rescued her kidnapped daughter from a gang of young girl trafficking. 

Weekend - Golden Jaguar Seafood, Deyun She Cross Talk

Saturday, tt and I went Golden Jaguar(a seafood buffet) in Wangfu Jing Street to have lunch with Dodou, SunMan and their girl friends. The food was very nice and we had a good time~ But, maybe I ate too much sea urchin and locos, my stomach felt not so good that evening.

Sunday, tt and I went Deyun She to listen XiangSheng(cross talks). The performance was good and jokes were fun. But, three-hour-in-house is too long. Next time, there should be a 15min break in the middle.

And after these two-day exhausted activities, I caught a fever and tt's cold got even worse. Yesterday, it's even hard for me to concentrate on work at daytime. But one big sleep, I feel much better~

Summer Palace in Spring

When friends from other provinces came to Beijing, I'd always like to serve as a local tour guide.

Not only do a favor to my friends, but this would also be an opportunity for me to go place where I would seldom go in my daily life.

Mr. Zhu is now in Beijing for 10 days. Yesterday, we went to the summer place to have a walk.

Weekend, Go BBQ~

My colleagues and I went to a villa at the outskirts of Beijing for weekend.

We had BBQ and played Wii on Friday evening, and went for a hiking around a everglade park.

10 Year Anniversary(2)

Our relationship begins 10 years ago, when we are both junior students in one boarding school at the outskirts of the city Beijing. That's the last year of junior school.

Then, excellent as a top student, she took and passed the entrance exam and went to another key school in downtown. However, excellent as a lazy but still good student, I directed enter the senior school of the same place without taking the exam...

After that, we went to different senior school, different university. Luckily, we are always in the same city, and met once a week...

We have so many precious memories in these ten years, which is definitely unique in our lives and never can happen again. 

At the date of 10 year anniverary, we chose to go back to where our love begins, our junior school, as a commencement for the past decade, and for a new one...

10 Year Anniversary

Ten years.

Ten years is really not a short period for me, for us, consider we are only 25.
Many different things can be done in ten years, or much less time.
However, it is not easy to keep on doing just one thing whole ten years.
It is even harder when the thing refers to one relationship.

Yes, it's hard, you know. Good things are always hard.
But luckily, we really made it.
And we've done pretty good, so far as I can see.

It's not easy to express my exact feeling now.
But I'm 120% sure, with you, I can feel the happiness and meaning of life.

Thank you, my love, for being with me for these years.
You are the one, and you will always be.

For the departed - Qingming Festival

April 4th/5th is Chinese Qingming Festival(also called Tomb Sweeping Day), which is for worshiping the departed ancestors and relatives.

The typical Chinese Stone Lions in the front of the gravestones, which represent honor and dignity.

Counterfeit paper money as an offer to the dead. Usually burnt, but nowadays it's forbidden to burn this inside the graveyard, as a precaution of fire.

Those who don't have money to buy a tomb would be burnt and buried together into one attic, with there names on the wall. People put an chrysanthemum under the name of their departed ralatives.
